The Future is Electric.
Michael has long been an EV advocate since 2013 since buying his first Chevy Volt and was frustrated by the lack of charging infrastructure in Pittsburgh.
His frustration led him to volunteer his time in growing EV education and outreach efforts in Harrisburg and Pittsburgh with the Drive Electric PA Coalition, Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities, and National Drive Electric Week. Michael joined National Car Charging in 2018, hoping to put his skills to work - in Pennsylvania and beyond.
Over the years, Michael has immersed himself in everything EV. He's the Chapter Director for the Pittsburgh Tesla Owners Club, Chair of the Pittsburgh EV Task Force, and City Captain for Pittsburgh's National Drive Electric Week Pittsburgh.
A graduate of Hall High School in West Hartford, Connecticut, Michael received his Associates Degree, Business Administration/Accounting from the Newport Business Institute.
His passions beyond EVs extend into radio broadcasting where he's had many opportunities to use his booming voice and production skills including a proud moment in 1973 when he assisted in the broadcast of a concert from a pirate radio station with the blessing of Bill Graham and the concert promoters.
When he's not talking EVs, Michael enjoys a good movie, getting away from the computer and taking a fast ride somewhere…
