National Car Charging Continues Expansion.
As the EV industry explodes, the leading EV charging reseller grows their team to meet growing demand.
Denver, CO - Widely viewed as the nation’s largest and most experienced EV charging station reseller and installer, the Denver-based National Car Charging (NCC) announced this week they are continuing to expand, growing their talent pool by three. The newest members of the team, Kamala Vanderkolk, Blaise Hirayama and Jim Anani, are joining the company’s already robust sales team and bringing with them vast experience in automotive, sales and sustainability advocacy.
“With our tremendous growth in 2022 and the anticipated year ahead, we felt it was critical to continue to build out our team so we can best service our clients and meet the exponentially growing demand for EV infrastructure,” stated Jim Burness, the founder and CEO of National Car Charging who started the business in 2011 with the foresight of where the future was going.
An early EV adopter, Kamala Vanderkolk has long been involved in the Colorado EV community where she successfully lobbied for legislation to protect EV fueling and parking access statewide. She’ll be partnering with NCC’s SVP RJ Harrington in the Colorado market as well as taking the lead for the company in Virginia where National Car Charging has a long-term regional partnership with Fairfax County and other state entities.
With some of the nation’s most aggressive sustainability goals, Honolulu-based Blaise Hirayama will join and lead NCC’s Hawai’i team under the company’s Aloha Charge brand. Launched in 2012, Aloha Charge is the leading EV charging provider in Hawai’i, and Blaise, a life long surfer and sustainability advocate, will partner with Amber Stone to elevate and further expand the state’s electrification.
With decades of experience in the automotive industry, Jim Anani will bring his wealth of knowledge to Texas and surrounding states. He is excited to be a trailblazer as part of the rapidly evolving EV industry with National Car Charging - the dominant player in the EV charging infrastructure space for the past 11 years.
“We're thrilled to have Kamala, Blaise, and Jim on-board! Adding their talent and energy to our already formidable and inspiring team will allow our business to grow and thrive, and meet the evolving market demands,” Burness shared. “We’re excited to see where 2023 will take us and continue to help our clients meet the growing need to electrify their parking lots, fleets, and more.”
National Car Charging is recognized as the leading expert in the EV infrastructure space with over 8000 installed ports across 48 states, dozens of business verticals and 900+ satisfied customers. Knowing the shift from the combustion engine to electrification will be challenging for many, the company takes a very consultative approach.
“Electrification is a big shift, so our goal is to make the transition easy,” Burness points out. “To do that, we only work with providers who have quality and innovative products designed to go the distance. Flash in the pan providers only disappoint drivers and set the industry and the planet back.” NCC carries several product lines, giving their customers a range of features and price options - including integrated solution providers ChargePoint and EVPassport, hardware manufacturers Zerova, Tritium and Juice Bar, and leading software networking providers EV Connect and ampUp. A full service provider, National Car Charging also offers planning, installation and maintenance services, if needed.
