Moving in the right direction.
After a long and successful career in the hospitality industry, Bhavik expanded his skill set and expertise to include electric vehicles.
An early adopter and EV driver himself, Bhavik felt it was critical to be part of this electrifying moment and joined National Car Charging in 2018, further supporting the business’ mission to facilitate and grow the nation's EVSE infrastructure.
Based in Chicago and specializing in the hospitality industry, Bhavik is familiar with the brand standards for Marriott, Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, Choice, and Best Western. This knowledge has prepared him to help you and your team determine the best EV solution for your particular location, brand, or chain scale.
With his strong hotel and restaurant background, Bhavik can also help developers and operators find public subsidies, grants, or incentives as well as has experience with helping property owners interpret local ordinances for EV charging and parking.
Bhavik attended school in both Chicago and Charlotte, and proudly completed his JD. In his spare time, he enjoys baseball (Go Cubs!) and the strategy and challenge of chess.

You may qualify for NEVI funds for DC fast charging.
The National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Program is part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA) passed by the U.S. Congress in 2022. It’s legislation designed to accelerate the equitable adoption of electric vehicles by advancing the build out of EV charging infrastructure and provides $7.5 billion for these EV charging projects. The funds break down into two buckets - $5 billion for nationwide funding and $2.5 billion for corridor and community charging grants.
Understanding the requirements.
NEVI was designed to deliver convenient, reliable, affordable and equitable DC charging for EV drivers. This funding will cover up to 80% of project costs, if you meet the following qualifications:
Be within 1 mile of established alternative fuel corridors (AFCs)
Accommodate the power requirements for DC solutions
Be able to charge four vehicles at 150 kW at the same time
Cover remaining total project costs
There are no restrictions on the type of businesses that apply for the funds. Hotels, motels, restaurants, gas stations, business parks, shopping malls and so on are all eligible as long as they meet the four measures above.
Ask Bhavik about NEVI funding along with the other state and local grants and incentives that may be available and can significantly lower the cost of EV charging hardware and installation.
