Most of Amy’s career has been in residential and commercial interior design, but her world changed in the wake of COVID and the shift to a remote workforce. She joined NCC in 2021 after seeing an ad for EV charging stations and she immediately thought: “exciting, future, urgent....I want and need to be a part of it.”
Several years later, Amy is now an active member of several EV organizations including Women in EVs, a passionate group of women within the sustainability industry and most of whom are EV drivers. She also volunteers as part of the San Diego Electric Vehicle Association (EVAOSD) where she advocates on behalf of electrified transportation as well as converts ICE vehicles to electric.
She attended Goshen High School and Goshen College as well as the International Academy of Design and Technology, Amy loves horses, teaching beginner piano and volunteers in supporting unaccompanied minors immigrating to the US. When she’s not pounding out chords on the piano, she can be found in the kitchen. She finds baking extremely therapeutic and especially loves making donuts and without question, Krispy Kreme’s pale by comparison!
She currently resides in San Diego and dreams of replacing her Model 3 one day with a Fisker Ocean.
